Bay Area Marketing Professionals,
Our club was established in August
1987 by Susan Rice Rappaport, Betsy Witthohn, Linda Racine, Bob Wrubel and James West,
who transformed a 'catalogers for lunch' bunch into a viable organization that serves
the greater good. Today, the Club's membership consists of small companies to those
listed on Multi-Channel Marketers' 100 top corporations. Membership segments are
typically one of three types: catalog and interactive marketers, agencies and
consultants, and industry suppliers.
The CeCNC provides an excellent forum for professionals who are dedicated to their careers
and the industry. Opportunities abound for those who seek them. Through the Club, you can:
- Network and discuss current issues with peers and leaders in our industry
- Via Program Events, gain relevant knowledge in marketing,
online communications, creative, merchandising, circulation, and internal operations!
- Via Education Events, participate in Advanced Seminars, or
round-out the skill sets of junior, or new, company employees in the always-needed Basics
Seminars, or brush-up on your technical skills via our applications training
- Via Social Events, use the networking opportunities to meet
new friends and colleagues at the Club's Fall Barbecue, Holiday Party, and Spring Fling
By participating in the CeCNC, you can help your career by increasing your
industry knowledge and relationships. Business progress often occurs not only from 'what you know'
but also 'who you know'. As a more-informed and better-connected employee, your improving skills
set will be noticed and appreciated by your employer.
The above-mentioned Events are coordinated by many. My hearty thanks to the CeCNC Committee Chairs
who, with their Advisors, make the Club a vital organization.

This coming year can be a great year for you, your company and our industry. Be an active CeCNC
member. The CeCNC needs you to keep the club strong so that it can fulfill its mandate to our
catalog and e-commerce community.
Sincerely,
Jodi Watson
President
